Michael Kors showed Spring 2027 in MoMA's sculpture garden
Michael Kors showed the Michael Kors Collection for Spring 2027 in the sculpture garden of the Museum of Modern Art on the morning of Friday 11 September 2026. In February 2026 his brand's 45th anniversary show was at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center. His mood board mixed Edie Sedgwick and Nico with Calder, Matisse, Carmen Herrera and a Wassily chair.
At MoMA, Are Clothes Modern? ran from 28 November 1944 to 4 March 1945. Over fourteen years, Rudofsky had devoted much time to studying clothing, and the exhibition was arranged in ten sections, with Trousers versus Skirts and the Unfashionable Human Body among them. Saks Fifth Avenue's loans included a pair of black suede pumps.
MoMA came back to the question with Items: Is Fashion Modern?, which ran from 1 October 2017 to 28 January 2018.
