AGRO Studio's SS27 collection Glass Body at London Fashion Week: thousands of antique and discarded buttons worked into optical distortion

AGRO Studio showed Glass Body, its SS27 collection, on the opening day of London Fashion Week. The studio is two people working bespoke and made to order, which is a rare thing to find on a runway schedule. Their usual commissions are stage and red carpet, one garment at a time, for musicians and performers. The buttons are the part worth noticing. They were antique or discarded before they arrived, sourced rather than manufactured, and sewn in numbers until the eye reads the surface as distorted rather than decorated. The show itself was strictly RSVP, run through Agency Eleven.
