Saint Laurent SS27: Vaccarello's all-gold show at the Trocadéro, ten years and two days after his first, amid unconfirmed reports he is leaving
Anthony Vaccarello's Saint Laurent spring 2027 show ran at the Trocadéro in Paris at 21:00 on 29 September, ten years and two days after his first for the house, amid reports he is stepping down. Nothing is confirmed. The reports name Chemena Kamali of Chloé, who worked under Vaccarello at Saint Laurent before the Chloé job, as a possible successor. None of Saint Laurent, Kering, Chloé or Richemont has confirmed any of it. He was appointed in April 2016 after Hedi Slimane left. The anniversary show ran gold into black, the reverse of the founder's 1991 Rive Gauche finale, with the house's safari jackets and trenches cut in metallised cotton and not one bag on the runway. Charlotte Gainsbourg sang at the end. Rosé sat front row.
