FeedComme des Garçons

Comme des Garçons SS27: Rei Kawakubo tops nearly every look with a padded fabric crown, royal life and real life becoming one, sculptural shapes of foam under denim, a spherical denim skirt, entrails

Comme des Garçons made the crowns from padded cotton over wire. The sculptures underneath were foam under denim and plain canvas, and the embellishment sat inside their folds rather than on the surface. Kawakubo's note to the press ran to a single line. Saturday 3 October, Paris.
