Junya Watanabe SS27, Funky: a show in two parts split by the music, catsuits under studs and spikes, a crystal chandelier worn as a dress, circuit boards on bodices, pearls on biker jackets

Junya Watanabe showed on the morning of Saturday 3 October in Paris. The first half ran on Chaka Khan and the second on Michael Jackson, the gloves were studded, Michael Jackson style, and the trench coats were cut up into capes. The lace evening dresses of the second half ran to the floor, Victorian in feeling, and the finale was a bride.
