Gabriela Hearst SS27 made with artisans in Afghanistan through Turquoise Mountain: hand-painted miniatures as buttons, shisha mirrors on pantsuits and knits, Suzani embroidery
Gabriela Hearst showed on Monday 5 October in Paris. Her research centred on the lives of Afghan women, from the late Emirate period to Taliban rule. Hearst also introduced coats of 100 per cent silk waxed with resin to make them water-resistant.
