Lee Miller, the photographer behind Ferragamo's spring 2027 show: Vogue model, Man Ray's partner, Cairo from 1934, war correspondent

Lee Miller was a New York fashion model in the 1920s, Man Ray's partner in Paris from 1929, a resident of Cairo from 1934 and an accredited war correspondent from the winter of 1942. Ferragamo built its spring 2027 show in Milan on her Egypt years, after Maximilian Davis saw her retrospective at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, organised with Tate Britain and the Art Institute of Chicago with around 250 prints. In Paris she and Man Ray rediscovered solarisation. In the desert she made Portrait of Space in 1937. On 30 April 1945 she was photographed in the bathtub of Hitler's Munich apartment. She died in 1977.
