Dior signed an exclusivity contract with the Rodin museum in 2011 for four shows
Dior (@dior) showed Fall Winter 2026 couture in the Rodin museum's sculpture garden in July, and the set stayed open to visitors from 7 to 12 July 2026. The museum's 2011 activity report records an exclusivity contract with Dior for four shows, couture in January and July, ready-to-wear in March and September. The Musée Rodin is a national museum that finances itself, payroll included, with no regular state subsidy: 0.5 percent of its regular receipts came from the state in 2025, and it reached 85 percent self-financing before the sale of original bronze editions, cast from Rodin's own models and moulds and capped at twelve casts per work, which close the gap each year. Payroll was 56 percent of its spending. Space hire is the other pillar. In 2024 the museum gave up its other tented events beyond the big moments so the shows could coexist with the public; events fell to 23, from 27 in 2023 and 32 in 2022, and takings still grew because the average per event rose. In 2025 there were 31 events and 6,004 guests, the January Dior couture show among them, and the museum calls the Dior partnership consolidated for the longer term. The museum lists space hire among the receipts that keep it self-funded.
