A jacket named after a cigar. In 1928 Irving Schott made the Perfecto, the first leather motorcycle jacket to use a zip, and named it after the cigar he liked to smoke.
It sold from a Harley dealer in New York, went on Brando, and stayed in the culture. The zip was the innovation. The attitude was the accident.
